I have recently completed my first full-length novel. The Waking of a Dream is a paranormal romance set in both Colonial and turn-of-the-century Massachusetts.

Maybelle Johnson and Jack O’Connell travel to her late uncle’s estate in western Massachusetts for the reading of his will.  Maybelle anticipates a glorious week with the man she loves before she must return home and marry the man her domineering father has chosen for her.  But with freedom comes danger – someone has been waiting for this opportunity to exact revenge.

Jacob Weaver arrives in the Massachusetts Bay Colony as an indentured servant.  He immediately falls under the spell of two beguiling sisters, Leah and Rachel Bradford.  But Jacob must tread carefully – or risk falling victim to a powerful curse.

More than 200 years later, this same curse threatens to destroy Maybelle and Jack as well.  Their only hope for survival is learning where Jacob went wrong – before the person who bears a grudge catches up to them.
